On The Avenue: Happy Easter
This week On The Avenue we just want to wish you a happy holiday weekend! Today is Good Friday, which means that Easter is only a couple of days away. It also means that whatever it is that you’ve given up for the past 40 days, you can RELISH in it today. Eat that chocolate. Drink that soda. Do your thing, and just remember why you gave it up in the first place.
All of the fun things we do on Easter, like hiding Easter eggs, and getting Easter baskets from the Easter Bunny are a part of what makes it such a happy holiday. But Easter is really about appreciating the things we have and appreciating the sacrifice that was made so that we may have them.
