On The Avenue: Trey Runs the Rock and Roll 1/2 Marathon
This week On The Avenue we’ll be cheering on a member of our Woodard Brothers team, Trey Tucker, as he runs in St. Jude’s Rock ‘n’ Roll 1/2 marathon! He will be up bright and early tomorrow morning to run his 14th (I REPEAT 14th) 1/2 marathon, and his excitement is contagious.
As he runs his course through beautiful downtown Nashville tomorrow, he will encounter excited supporters and LIVE MUSIC, with bands, DJs, or drum lines serving as each mile marker. St. Jude even snagged Hunter Hayes as a headliner for the day’s festivities. Those registered for the race get free tickets, so Trey is in store for a pretty awesome day!
What makes the day so special though, is that all of these amazing things are happening in order to support the St. Jude Children’s Research hospital. All of those who registered for the race this year helped to raise funds and become a part of an alliance against childhood cancer, which helps insure that families who have children at St. Jude will never receive a bill for travel, housing or food.
So help us cheer Trey on as he supports this awesome cause tomorrow morning!
