Rowdy Riley’s Sports Review – College Football Preseason Top 5
Welcome back to Rowdy Riley’s Sports Blog. College Football fans rejoice, the season is almost upon us. That being said… the Crimson Tide tops the preseason AP Top 25 for the 9th time overall and for the second straight season, which should honestly come as no surprise at all. Rounding out the top 5 are: at #2 the Ohio State Buckeyes, the #3 spot belongs to the National champion Georgia Bulldogs, the Clemson Tigers clawed their way to #4, the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame take 5th place. This is the seventh number one preseason ranking for the Tide in the 15 years under Coach Saban. Keep in mind that this can CLEARLY and obviously change. Personally, I think that Alabama being top dog once again is not only good for Alabama, but also great for the SEC. This season of college football looks promising. We will have to wait and see what team will lay claim to the title of national champion.
