The Film Reel – Star Trek Into Darkness (2013)
This review is on the sci-fi action adventure sequel Star Trek Into Darkness. In this sequel, a mad terrorist known simply as Khan (Benedict Cumberbatch) has started a one-man war against Starfleet. So Captain James Kirk (Chris Pine), his first officer Vulcan Commander Spock (Zachary Quinto), and the crew of the starship Enterprise set off on a voyage to find Khan and stop him before he can do anymore harm to the Federation. But they will soon realize things are not what they seem and there is something else at play. My thoughts on Star Trek Into Darkness is that it is a really good sequel, just as good as the 2009 original film. It has really cool action and special effects. The cast, especially the ones playing the crew of the Enterprise, did just as good a job as they did in the first movie. The director, J.J. Abrams (who directed the 2009 blockbuster original), did a real good job making this sequel. This would be for you if you’re a huge fan of Star Trek, the sci-fi adventure series that boldly goes where no one has gone before.
Now, roll the end credits on this Film Reel!
