On The Avenue: Meet Sarah

This week On The Avenue, I’m going to be introducing you to another member of our team… Me! You all have met a lot of our residents here at Westwood and Woodard, and I figure it was about time that you got to know a little bit more about me. Instead of conducting my usual interview, I’ll just be answering my usual questions myself. Check it out below!

How did you meet Tom?

I actually interned for Tom while I was still in college! I came in for my interview and fell in love with the place, so after I graduated I was thrilled to come back to work full time.

How long have you lived in Nashville?

I am a Nashville native! I grew up in the Brentwood/Franklin area, and moved back to Nashville after finishing my undergraduate at the University of Tennessee Knoxville (Go Vols).

What is it that you like about your position?

What I really like about my job is that I get to wear a lot of different hats. I do a little bit of everything! I’ve been able to learn and grow a lot working here, and it’s exciting that I get to keep doing that. Having such an awesome team to work with makes my job a lot easier and a lot more fun, so I’m so appreciative of that.

Give one fun fact.

My go to fun fact is always that I have a twin brother. I grew up with a built in best friend, and it was the best!

What is something that you would rate 10/10?

I have thought a lot about this question while I’ve been posing it to all of my co-workers, and I have come to the conclusion that Savannah Smiles Girl Scout Cookies are the most under-rated cookies (especially of the Girl Scout variety) of all time. They’re the lemon ones with the powdered sugar. Definitely a 10/10- Highly recommend.

What was your high school superlative?

So I actually had a superlative that was selected by my classmates and it was “Most caring,” which was nice. I like to think I’m a caring person, so I’ll take it!

I’m glad that we could all get to know each other a little bit better 🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll see you again next week, On The Avenue!
